Safety of Our People

It is Silgan's commitment and policy to provide each employee a safe working environment to perform their duties. It is also fully expected that all employees follow AL NAFAY' safety rules and procedures, use appropriate personal protective equipment, operate equipment with the documented safe practices, and exercise food safety practices for themselves and for their fellow coworkers.

AL NAFAY has created the below Safety Target in order to uphold the company's responsibility to send every employee home in the same condition that they arrived to work in:

AL NAFAY will achieve safety performance as measured by DART (Days Away Restricted Time) of 50% less than the Bureau of Labor and Statistics DART rate of 2/8 (in 2012) for Plastics and Rubber Manufacturing Sector during the next 5 years (baseline 2014 through year 2020).
